My Approach on a Wedding Day

Your wedding is more than a timeline of events. It’s a gathering of the people, places, and moments that matter most. From the quiet in between glances to the celebrations that fill the room, my role is to preserve your day in a way that feels honest, beautiful, and entirely you.

From our first conversation to the final album in your hands, the experience is designed to feel calm, supportive, and seamless. So you can be fully present while everything meaningful is documented with intention.

I blend refined portraiture with natural, unscripted moments, stepping in with gentle guidance when needed and stepping back when the moment speaks for itself. I pay close attention to light, movement, and emotion, anticipating what’s unfolding so nothing important is missed.

While you focus on celebrating, I’m quietly protecting space for portraits, working in harmony with your planner and creative team, and ensuring the flow of your day remains uninterrupted. The result is imagery that feels effortless, emotional, and timeless.

Once you inquire, the first step is connection. I take time to learn about your vision, priorities, and what matters most to you. You’ll receive my Wedding Experience Guide, which walks you through my collections, investment, and what working together looks like in a thoughtful, detailed way.

From there, we schedule a consultation call to talk through your plans and make sure everything feels aligned.

After our conversation, I create a custom proposal tailored to your celebration. This includes your contract and retainer invoice. Your date is complimentary held for 24 hours, giving you space to review everything, sign, and submit the 25% retainer.

Once the contract is signed and the retainer is received, you are officially an EHP bride and the experience truly begins.

You’ll receive a welcome email along with my signature bridal guide, a thoughtfully created resource to help you feel prepared and confident throughout the planning process.

Soon after booking, we begin planning your engagement session. If your collection includes bridal portraits, we schedule those about 4–6 weeks before the wedding day. Throughout this time, I’m available to offer guidance on wardrobe, locations, and timeline considerations.

About 90 days before your wedding, you’ll receive a detailed questionnaire to gather the final pieces- family dynamics, special moments, and meaningful details. Using this, I begin collaborating with your planner to create a photography timeline that protects both beautiful light and meaningful moments.

On your wedding day, I arrive early and fully prepared, documenting your celebration with intention, care, and a steady presence. My approach allows you to be present and at ease while every meaningful moment is preserved.

Within 48 hours, you’ll receive a curated sneak peek from your day. Your full gallery is delivered within approximately 8–12 weeks. I believe this part of the process should never feel rushed, allowing your images to receive the attention to detail they deserve.

If your collection includes fine art prints or an heirloom album, I guide you through image selection and personally design these pieces for you. Every step is handled with care so you can enjoy reliving your day without added stress.
